High Volume, Low Speed (HVLS) fans take a fundamentally different approach to air movement. Where small, high-speed fans blast a narrow jet of air at one spot and leave the rest of the room untouched, a single large-diameter Big Ass Fan rotates slowly to push a massive, near-silent column of air down to the floor — where it spreads outward into a wide "floor jet" that keeps people comfortable across an entire zone.
